[...] erin says: we’ve been to the Middleton location, so I’m filing this under places we’ve already been. The Fitchburg location has a nice dining area with at least one tv. I liked the legos spelling their name on a ledge. It looks like the Fitchburg location has a few sandwiches and a kids menu in addition to the pizzas, pastas, and salads that are also on the Middleton menu. I enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger pizza. Everything is great with bacon. There were 6 of us, and we had no trouble getting a table. I’m standing by my last rating.
We recently went back. Our friends would highly recommend the Pisco Sour and we tried the causitas appetizer. I particularly enjoyed the version with salmon.

We revisited recently on a Sunday night and I was much happier with the quieter atmosphere. Maybe the initial buzz has worn off, or maybe it was because it was raining. We enjoyed our dinners in relative peace until some rowdy soccer fans came in yelling and screaming. I enjoyed the grilled cheese, and loved the few bites I had of Brian's cottage pie.

I'd never heard Frakes before, but on the menu inside it listed Fries. I should have googled it!

"Frakes," from the above linked Forum topic, appears to be their word for "fried taters." And the pit master who you've seen working the counter is Patrick "Pete" Peter.

I wrote up a little pre-review for The Daily Page here.
